"Divo Geometrico" is a work that reinterprets the figure of Pope Saint Silverius in an abstract way, through a cubist and highly symbolic language.
The figure of the saint is broken down into three essential triangles, which recall the Trinity and the pillars of his spiritual existence: sacrifice, faith and holiness.

The lower triangle, stable and pointing upwards, represents the earthly dimension of the saint: papacy, exile and the strength of faith.
The central triangle, also solid, symbolizes the inner struggle and the spiritual depth of martyrdom.
The upper triangle, projected towards the sky, expresses the elevation of the soul and communion with God.

The face of Saint Silverius, serene and whole, emerges from the geometric planes as the spiritual centre of the work, while the pastoral staff, also integrated into the form, underlines the continuity of his guiding mission.

The composition uses the three primary colours red, yellow and blue which enhance the formal and symbolic purity of the work: red for sacrifice, yellow for divine light, blue for transcendence.

"Divo Geometrico" is a contemporary icon that, through essential forms, tells the story of the journey of faith, made of internal ruptures and recompositions.
